I am a man of peace but not of God, as I do not believe in God but that very moment the quotes from the movie blood diamond lingered in my mind -
“Sometimes I wonder… will God ever forgive us for what we’ve done to each other? Then I look around and I realize… God left this place a long time ago.” – Danny Archer – Blood Diamond. Probably god has left this place but then man has not. And specially the man who believes killing innocent people would make him go to heaven is still there. And we have to deal with that.

Can someone justify what is the reason behind this carnage? Has someone seen the pictures, they are brutal, people covered with blood, half burnt bodies lying on the streets, Damn it!!! those people are someones loved ones, its someone’s brother/sister/father/mother/child lying there dead. That arms, legs and body parts you must have seen on the street is someone just like you and me. And what guarantee do we have that it won’t be us in the near future, that it won’t be you or your loved one next time. Aren’t you all tired of this shit, I mean its enough now, don’t we want to walk on the road peacefully, and we cannot do that in our own country, in your own city. Or are we used to it now? Or has it stopped making any difference to us. If not, I am sure that day is not far enough, I am sure a day will come when it would not make any difference to anyone towards such catastrophic incidents.

I feel that attack is the best form of defence, its high time now, India needs to do something, I need to do something, if you are reading this then you need to do something, help in anyway possible. Not only Indians but people from all over the world need to do something. But then what can we do? Nothing right? I think we are cowards, I am I suppose, you are, we all are. Time after time there have been attacks everywhere and what do we do, listen to the news, tweet the information, update your facebook status, gTalk status, feel bad, share it with friends, thats it.
Terrorists come on our land, kill our people and leave, we just sit there doing nothing. The government sits there doing nothing. Everything is a lie, a farce. I feel scared when my loved one or my family member or even my close friend or even myself is out of the house, not knowing if he/she or myself will return home or not or will be squashed to death by some freaking terrorist plot or some cheap ahole underworld goon.
Right from 1993 till today there have been series of explosions, killing hordes of innocent people. Why hasnt the government come up with something – a plan, an infrastructure, a strategy when the first time there was bomb explosions. Why hasn’t the common man raised his voice or come up with the same? A nation of billions and there isn’t a plan or a strategy to counter this type of terrorism.

I just want to share a time line of ‘some of the incidents’ which happened in the last few years and if I recollect there has been no measures taken or even thought of to avoid such heinous attacks in future, its still the same what it was 2 decades ago, I am the same, you are the same, this whole bloody freaking system is the same. Nothing has changed. Because we don’t want to change, we want to live the way it is.

Where are the politicians of Bombay or for that matter of the rest of the country, ohh wait! some of the Bombay politicians are beating up poor people who have migrated from other states to bombay in the search of jobs. Some are claiming “aamchi Mumbai” oh yeah?? then its your Mumbai which is rocked by series of bombs and explosions, and what the duck are you doing?. Some of them are busy ripping off money through scams like 2G, CWG and Satyam etc. So obviously they do not have time, what do you expect?

You see but its not easy for the politicians as they have complete security 24/7 from (your) tax payers money so I am sure it must be difficult for them to bypass that huge security and reach out for the people who had elected them and chosen them as their leader, whilst a common man is on the road lurking around with his family so he is the one more vulnerable than anyone. Isn’t that common sense? So yes a common man will die and suffer. Think about it, we need change. we need our life.

It is me and you who is going to get killed someday, it is your or my loved one who is going to die And it will be same us who will elect the next leader and that leader would be giving shit to us. And the epic saga will continue.

But the hope in me says – We are to be blamed, we make the government. People are the government, people of a democratic country are higher than anyone else, higher than the cops, judges, lawyers, politicians, the bloody system and whoever there is. I believe in peace but then I do not favor lighting candles, closing my eyes and joining my hands will change anything.

India should start taking massive steps now, India should find the terrorist camps/ responsible groups or individuals within the country or outside of it and start giving them the taste of their own medicine. The government would not do this but, because they do not have any pressure of doing it. Out of a billions if 20 or 50 or 100 die, so what??? All those dead are common people, no one cares for a common man.

But I believe that there is hope, if the government is pressurized enough then this can be cracked down. Beautiful and peaceful world would no more by myth.

Children are the future of any nation and they not having basic education, food to eat, water to drink, shelter to live will automatically result in the debacle of any nation or atleast hamper its growth. Apart from that, people are fighting over temples and mosques making it a controversial land instead that why not construct a school or a hospital?  Why hasn’t a single politician ever said that ” Lets build a school here, lets build a hospital here” So that no matter what religion you are from, you get education, no matter what religion you are you can be treated here. No sharing no caring and hence love lost, or did it even exist anytime. Sometimes I wonder does anyone even feel anything anymore.

we are the future

Today’s day started when I heard the news about 6.3 magnitude Earthquake hitting the Canterbury region and very very close to the Christchurch city of NewZealand. The official death toll so far has reached to the count of 75 and there are still 300 missing, and several hundreds injured. These are just the rough numbers which I found out after following the news. Its really saddening to see such thing happening and my heart feels for those who have lost their relatives or loved ones in such an unfortunate natural calamity.

Google has in the past provided support and help through their crisis response page projects and its really amazing that they have quickly done it for Christchurch quake. One of the areas affected by the EarthQuake in NZ

I was wondering these 2 crisis are so different, the one going on in Libya – people protesting against tyranny and the other in NZ where people trying to reach for others who are trapped under the debris or rubble, people who are helping strangers in times of calamity. The Christchurch quake is an unfortunate natural disaster whereas the Libya tyranny is an unfortunate man made disaster, both should be dealt with, both should be fought. I was shocked to hear Gaddafi’s statement calling the protesters as cockroaches and rats, and calls upon his supporters to fill the streets and to chase down the protestors and pick them from house by house. Also, that whoever undermines the state will be killed.

Shocking and disturbing… How would any person say that for the people of his own country?What leader would say that? I thought maturity and understanding comes with age, its not the case with everyone I suppose.

The bloodshed going on in Libya is heart breaking and it hurts to see people dying to live the way they want and the way they deserve to be. What gave hope in Libya is the toppling of two regimes in Tunisia and Egypt within a span of 2 weeks. And why not? If 3-4 decades of oppression and tyranny can be toppled, when the corrupt can be eradicated, where hope can be sensed then it can be done in my country as well. Why do I have to die to live the way I want to? Do I deserve it? NO.

The main concern has been shown by Gaddafi that Libya might be a place of civil war if he steps down and that will let US or any other country to get involved in their matters. Civil war? isn’t it one already? People are dying, they being killed. Every issue can be resolved amicably and in a peaceful way but then at such a delicate time if that kind of a speech, which will increase the hatred and anger amongst the protesters, is being given then there is bound to have violence and bloodshed. Thousands have been killed and more have been injured. The killing should stop, people deserve to live their life. Let them live. Trust me there is no god, there isnt any good religion to follow, every religion has some or the other thing which might not be right or nice. Why isn’t humanity a religion? One life, live it.

I really wish that this gets over soon and people really get what they want and without any more casualties or killings since this will eventually stop in a few days but then the lives lost will never ever come back, ask those who have lost their loved ones. Life isn’t about all this, imagine those who died at a tender age… Imagine their families. Nothing lives forever except HOPE!

Arsenal has equal chance to win the game, as much as Barcelona has, since the match always start 0-0, what matters is what happens after that. Arsenal has improved since the last time spanking they got from Barcelona, the only problem is that Barcelona has also improved and is unarguably the best football team in the world. I am sure this will be a high tempo game and both the teams would be going for a win rather than a draw.

According to me 3 things which heavily influence this game would be

1. Cesc Fabregas
2. Defense
3. Strategy

Fabulous Fab
Cesc Fabregas, 23, in an immaculate form, this guy is one of the best mid-fielders of the game. He single handedly gives rhythm to the game and takes the total control of the game. His vision of the game has always been spot on and passing of the ball has been the best. Above that he has been an exceptional leader for Arsenal, leading them in contention for all the 4 major trophies yet. Under the experience and guidance of Arsene Wenger (Manager Arsenal FC), Cesc Fabregas has transformed into a Euro Cup winner and World Cup Winner already by the age of 23. He has a long way to go and his desire to win the trophies makes him better and better. He can run the show in today’s game provided he gets proper support from rest of the team. Barcelona should not get any space to move around or play their own game, Arsenal mid-fielders and defenders should suffocate the catalans by continuously staying on their feet and toes. Cesc should get as much ball as he can and then he can literally do magic with his play. Cesc is the key.

Defense
Arsenal’s defense has looked shaky all over the premier league games but they have been consistent in between specially when Johan Djourou has stepped up with Laurent Koscielny and has formed a formidable defense. Gael clichy has always been consistent but then it will be a different ball game when you are playing against the best player on planet, Lionel Messi period. Messi if given a chance will rip apart the game single handedly. Messi is the best player on the planet and is in the best team of the world but then yet again, not every team will win every game. If messi is contained then half of the job should already be done, the rest of the half will depend on the strikers to finish it. RVP – Robin Van Persie is also in great form and should score some goals if he is awarded with some perfect passing. Sagna is quick and powerful and he should cope well I assume.

Strategy
One of the most important things to win games, battles and wars is Strategy. What should Arsenal do to stop Barcelona? Since both the teams are similar in the game they play infact Arsenal can be touted as Barcelona lite. So how do you defeat your own better side? Strategy. Arsenal should play their own game but at the same time should contain Barcelona, no incomplete passes, no too much space and ball, no respect. It should be just any other game. Here Arsene Wenger will have to work with the boys and define a strategy which will force Barcelona to adapt a different strategy towards their approach. This will disturb their natural game plan and then Arsenal will have the full control of the game and once in control of the game, Arsenal are as dangerous as Barcelona, maybe even more. Glory glory Arsenal FC!
Hope its a great game and Arsenal win. Fear can hold you prisoner but hope can set you free – [The shawshank redemption]. And I guess its redemption time.

I just liked the theme of “3 idiots” (an Indian movie which has broken all the records for the best movie and money… yeah!) What has been said in the movie is so true… It is so real… thats life or at least how it should be…..

That is so true.. do what you want… pursue what you like rather than just following the blind race… I mean you would enjoy your work only if u like it, if you would love it, if you would feel like going to work and it would not be work for you, it would be like actually living your life… Imagine a photographer… who always wanted to be photographer… how creative and efficient he would be for himself and for his work.

Many of my friends (Satmeet Ubhi – satmeet.ubhi@gmail.com, Anish Bansal – anishbansal1@gmail.com) have told me that always love ur work/job(what you are assigned) not your company/organization (who assigns it). That is so true I mean… imagine everyday when you enter your cubicle/Office… how eagerly you sit in your work place and crave for doing something… so eagerly that you getting a pay cheque fortnightly or weekly or maybe monthly….

It’s better if you sit down and say yes I want to finish this assignment today, I want to make this application work this way… OK…. Wait I want to code this way that I can understand how this works…. Or wait… would this work? Let me try this way? Try??? I remember once a girl told me “Trying is the first step towards failure.. Don’t try…. Godamnnn!!! Just do it!”  WOW! What a confidence?
